Who the heck is this person? I've never heard of her? Are we in the boonies up here in the Great NW?

She is one of the foremost cultural critics of our time . One of the true free thinkers .
(This will make some gag.) She is kind of Mark Twainish .

Diamondhead is a cool place . I believe D , if you enrolled in The University of the Arts in Philadelphia , you could receive this wisdom directly .

I wouldn't worry about it. She's just an over-egged intellectual who's not as cutting-edge influential as she or her acolytes would like to think.

Oh, and by the way, is your name a Phil Manzanera reference?

I thought your name meant that you were some kind of super freak---like a Plaitnum Card member or something:

"Attention, fellow freaks, John from Spokane, just downloaded and traded his 1500th show. This, coupled with his achievements in psychedelic ingestion, hygenic ignorance, and groovy-grilled-cheese alternate production methods, entitles him to Diamond Level benefits. These benefits include..."

Fair enough. We're all of us tied in to our cultural references - which is not to say that it's no bad thing to have our boxes kicked every now and then.
